Confetti is a mutation speculated to have originated with a Spewpa experiment, but due to its rarity it went unnoticed and spread across different Experiments by the time it presented for the first time.

Much like MATERIAL CHANGE, this gene does not affect colour grading, and consists of largely organic materials and metals. The confetti itself can be any shape, but is small and typically flat. Much like the confetti on Spewpa, it tends to grow around fluffy areas of a Pokemon (and in the case of Pokemon without fluff/plume, common areas such as tails, neck, heads, ears, etc), and can come off and regrow quickly.
